The Eleventh Annual General Meeting of Àrainn Shuaineirt was held on Monday 17th June 2013.

Gill Calver, Pat Glenday and Stewart Malcolm were re-appointed as committee members, having retired by rotation.

We still require one representative from the Morvern Community Council area. Any volunteers?

The committee with regret accepted that David Barker and Jane Johnstone would no longer sit on the committee, and thanked them both for their commitment and contributions over the years.

The meeting was also saddened to hear that Jane would be retiring from her post with Ardnamurchan Library at the end of July. Jane has been in post since the Library opened in 2002 and has created a fantastic environment for readers of all ages and will be much missed. The committee were effusive in their thanks to Jane for her achievements over the years and wished her the very best for the future.

Finally, the committee were delighted to welcome two new co-opted members – Norrie MacLaren from Ardgour and Chris Evans from Sunart.
